You know each other, doesn't mean you know each other personally.
You both did the same thing, doesn't mean you two are the same.
You came from around the same background, doesn't mean both of you will be the same.
You have the same taste, doesn't mean both of you are best friends.
You talk alot when you're together, doesn't mean you like each other very much.
You kind of knew each other, doesn't mean he/she must assist you in anything.

Learnt to keep everything separately. May not be an absolute good thing, doesn't mean it is not good at all.
