Had some chit-chating with my team leader after work today. And I found out the reason I was hired - partly cos he want someone with a Accounting/ degree background, at least. Reason being, it will be easier for them to pick up the work knowledge. Partly cos I am an Asian Chinese. My Shanghainese-Chinese boss thinks Asian/ Chinese are more hardworking and smart.

I dont know if the whole chit chating is casual enough or what, anyway, I think i got the hint/ tips - which was somewhat consistent with what I think. Forward Thinking.
