Different between working in Big Firm and Small Firm probably is just that u'll know everyone u working with, EASILY.. and, when/ IF u got any questions, u can ask Anyone..while in Big Firm, everyone is so-very-the Busy with their own stuff. The manager u reporting to were busy in meeting the whole morning on your first day of work.

So.. my first day - I was given a few task - mainly to (so-called) get urself comfy with the work environment and familiar with the system.

First thing, of course, set up my system - Window log-in, email, MXIE (just in case u dono wats that, its the telephone system with internet-based that Cambridge use) with my user ID and password. ohya...got a new phone from IT department oso..hehe..not bad.. memang is Big Firm huh..

So, my task for the day was : read 3 files consist of AT LEAST 100+ powerpoint slides per file and do 3 corresponding test. It took me at least 2 hour to finish one file. Dammit. But, good thing is i learn something new - Worker Compensations (Claim Overview, Claim Management Model & Customer Service Telephone Technique). BUT, everything flew out my brain the moment i complete the test. hehehehhee...

Then, next thing.. get myself familiar with the Intranet. So, i was told to go to every link to have a look. Happened to click into HR- some policy thing.. This is the 1st time i know that a company would have such policy saying that "your immediate family, spouses and partner will NOT be employed if u work in there".. wao.. geli-nya
