Capricorn

December 22 to January 20

Element: Earth
Quality: Cardinal, a sign that leads others
Mto: "I overcome"
Planetary Ruler: Saturn, the planet of delayed reward
Saturn's influence: Saturn creates obstacles for Capricorns, forcing them them to bravely face difficulties and turn weaknesses into strengths. A difficult chilhood followed by a prosperous adulthood is common in this sign. Over time, these driven folks soften up and start cracking dry jokes. Older Capricorns love kicking up their heels and having a good time.
Symbol: Goat
Goat's Influence: Capricorns are tough people who rarely drop their guard. Like goats, they scramble over any scrap of trouble life throws them and keep on climbing. They will go to great lengths to help friends and family, but have difficulty asking for help themselves. Success gets lonely, but Capricorns relish the respect it brings them.
