Capricorn Careers

Capricorns like to lead by example and show real results - a bigger botom line, or a better product. These folks excel at building major structures, which means they are well suited to big ideas and large corporations. They also gravitate towards fields that deal with construction or the use of land, such as architecture, engineering, surveying, real estate, and urban planning. Goat folks also choose traditional vocations such as law or medicine, or big business, where consmetic Capricorn titans such as Vidal Sassoon, Elizabeth Arden, and Helena Rubinstein excelled. Their interest in the earth's raw materials can lead them into working with leather, ceramics, mining and jewelry making. Their love of history may make for a career as an archaeologist, antique dealer, or historian. Goats prefer calculated risks, and few seek self-employment until experienced in their field. When they do become free agents, though, they concentrate and prioritize easily. Jeff Bezos of Amazon.com dance troupe leader Alvin Ailey, and golf pro Tiger Woods are some of the self-starter Capricorns who exemplify this sign's ability to succeed at risk after testing the waters.
